📊 New metric in Reels analytics (Business data)
We’ve added a brand-new comparison metric in the Reels overview for Business profiles: you can now see the average number of likes and comments your Reels receive, and compare that to the average performance of other content formats (such as posts, carousels, etc.).
This update helps you better understand how your Reels are performing in relation to your other content, and guides you in refining your content strategy.
These updates are now live for Not Just Analytics subscriptions.

🎥 Updated Reels metrics & terminology
We’ve aligned our terminology with Instagram’s official standards! The outdated “Plays” metric has now been replaced by “Views” — in line with what you see directly on Instagram.
Here’s what we’ve updated:
- Replaced all mentions of “Plays” with “Views” across the platform
- Updated tooltips and text labels
- Standardized the language used in all Reels-related sections
- Removed the confusing split between total and repeated plays
Result? A cleaner, more consistent and up-to-date Reels analysis experience, fully aligned with Instagram’s current metrics.
🔐 Faster login with email autocomplete
Logging in is now easier and quicker!
We’ve enabled browser-based email autocomplete during the login process. If you’ve saved your credentials, your email address will now auto-fill — saving time and extra clicks.
It’s a small change, but a big boost for power users who log in frequently.
